SS Thistlegorm lies in the Red Sea off Egypt and is centred on wreck dives, turning sunken vessels into reef-like habitat. Dives run to 32 m with around 25 m visibility, gentle currents and sea temperatures of 21–28°C. Marine highlights include WWII munitions ship, trucks, locomotives and fish. Best season is Mar–Oct, typically reached by boat and liveaboard. Built for experienced divers. An Advanced Open Water certification is recommended.
