Wall-and-reef diving with visibility up to 30 m, 4 standout species — a great fit for most divers.. Ras Mohammed National Park sits in the Red Sea off Egypt, a wall and reef system where dives drop from shallow tops into deeper water. Dives run to 40 m with around 30 m visibility, moderate currents and sea temperatures of 21–28°C. Marine highlights include reef sharks, turtles, huge gorgonians and tuna. Best season is Mar–Oct, typically reached by boat. A good choice for divers with some experience. Open Water certification is sufficient for most sites here. With dives to 40 m, comfort at depth is recommended.
SS Thistlegorm
Wreck diving with visibility up to 25 m, 4 standout species, liveaboard access — a strong choice for experienced divers.. SS Thistlegorm lies in the Red Sea off Egypt and is centred on wreck dives, turning sunken vessels into reef-like habitat. Dives run to 32 m with around 25 m visibility, gentle currents and sea temperatures of 21–28°C. Marine highlights include WWII munitions ship, trucks, locomotives and fish. Best season is Mar–Oct, typically reached by boat and liveaboard. Built for experienced divers. An Advanced Open Water certification is recommended.

Blue-hole diving with visibility up to 25 m — a strong choice for experienced divers.. Dahab Blue Hole, a blue hole in the Red Sea off Egypt, drops from a shallow rim into open water. Dives run to 100 m with around 25 m visibility, minimal currents and sea temperatures of 21–28°C. Marine highlights include corals, reef fish and garden eels. Diving is possible year-round, typically reached by shore. For trained technical divers. A Technical certification is recommended. With dives to 100 m, comfort at depth is recommended.
