Why go
Tofo Beach is a reef site in the Indian Ocean off Mozambique, offering coral reefs and drift dives across its waters. Dives run to 35 m with around 20 m visibility, moderate currents and sea temperatures of 22–28°C. Marine highlights include manta rays, whale sharks and turtles. Best season is Sep–Mar, typically reached by boat. Built for experienced divers. An Advanced Open Water certification is recommended.

Came hoping for turtles, and it delivered. The 20 m visibility kept everything sharp.
I bring my AOW students here. The moderate current makes a proper dive plan essential, and the briefing matters.
