Lembeh Strait in the Lembeh Strait off Indonesia is a dedicated macro and muck-diving site, where photographers search for small and unusual subjects. Dives run to 30 m with around 15 m visibility, gentle currents and sea temperatures of 27–29°C. Marine highlights include hairy frogfish, blue-ringed octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish and mimic octopus. Diving is possible year-round, typically reached by shore and boat. A good choice for divers with some experience. Open Water certification is sufficient for most sites here.

Loved it. Getting there by shore and boat was easy, and the water was a comfortable 27–29°C.
Solid choice for intermediate divers. With a range down to 30 m there's room to work without pushing boundaries.
Really enjoyed it. Just watch your buoyancy when you drop in.
