Dives run to 35 m with around 25 m visibility, gentle currents and sea temperatures of 26–29°C. Marine highlights include turtles, eagle rays and corals. Diving is possible year-round, typically reached by boat and shore. Best for newer divers. Open Water certification is sufficient for most sites here.
Utila
Reef diving with a well-rounded site — ideal for newcomers.. Utila is a reef site in the Caribbean Sea off Honduras, offering coral reefs across its waters. Dives run to 30 m with around 20 m visibility, gentle currents and sea temperatures of 26–29°C. Marine highlights include whale sharks, corals and rays. Best season is Mar–May, typically reached by boat. Best for newer divers. Open Water certification is sufficient for most sites here.
